One of our principal dentists at Dental 187 Fullurton, Dr. Penny Ellis has been dedicated to providing exceptional dental care since earning her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide in 2001.
With expertise across general and restorative dentistry, she offers a full range of treatments from fillings, cleans, and exams to night guards, trauma care, crowns, and root canals. Penny also has specialised training in children’s dentistry and forensic odontology, ensuring every patient receives thoughtful, comprehensive care.

Dr. Johanna Linn

Dr Johanna Linn graduated from the University of Adelaide and has over 25 years of experience in private practice, having initially worked in rural Victoria before practising locally. She provides comprehensive general dentistry, with a strong emphasis on preventive care and conservative treatment approaches. Dr Linn is a current member of the Australian Dental Association.
Dr. Elizabeth Usher

Dr. Liz Usher graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2009. Alongside her work in private practice, she has experience as a clinical tutor at the University of Adelaide and has volunteered at the Angkor Hospital for Children in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
While Dr. Usher enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, she has a particular interest in caring for patients with dental anxiety and phobias. She is experienced in providing treatment under relative analgesia (happy gas) and IV sedation, and is committed to ensuring patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their care. Dr. Usher values the confidence patients gain after a positive dental experience and enjoys helping them feel good about their smile.
Outside the clinic, Dr Usher is a busy mum of two girls and enjoys running, cooking, and spending time with friends.
Elina Nurmela

Elina is a compassionate and dedicated dental hygienist with an Advanced Diploma of Oral Health from TAFE SA. She has always had an interest in teeth, mixing her passion for horses to become a qualified equine dentist in 2014. Following this, Elina made the jump to human dentistry by training to become a dental assistant in 2019 before undertaking further studies to become a dental hygienist. She is passionate about preventive care, periodontal therapy, and patient education, aiming to empower individuals to maintain healthy smiles throughout their lives.
In Elina’s spare time, she enjoys being outdoors with her partner and fur baby Flynn, along with downhill mountain bike riding.
